Vinitaly. 56ª edizione conferma interesse per vini italiani nel mondo. Lollobrigida: "il vino è simbolo della nostra cultura, dei nostri paesaggi e della nostra tradizione".

Vinitaly. 56th edition confirms interest in Italian wines in the world. Lollobrigida: “wine is a symbol of our culture, our landscapes and our tradition”.

“Vinitaly concludes its 56th edition with extraordinary results, confirming the prestige and importance of the Italian wine sector at an international level. We are faced with a clear signal of the continuing interest in our wines in the world, a symbol of quality, history, nature, culture and traditions of which Italy is proud“. Thus the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, Francesco Lollobrigida.

“We wanted to strengthen the collaboration between all the subjects involved, from institutions to sector bodies to companies, to support Italian wine in its position of excellence on the global market. The success of Vinitaly is also thanks to the teamwork we have put in place and for this I thank all those who contributed to the organisation, the tastings, the in-depth moments, the seminars, the awards ceremonies, the cultural spaces and all the events who made our excellence known and thrilled the public throughout this edition”, underlined Lollobrigida, who has thanked “the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, the ministers and all the government representatives who attended, the representatives of the administrations at all levels, the entire Veronafiere team starting from the president Federico Bricolo, the police forces who contributed, the exhibitors from all over Italy, but also from abroad, the national and international press, the associations, the sector bodies, the sommeliers, the professionals who contributed, the operators and the enthusiasts from all over the world who attended”, Together with “Masaf staff, our Icqrf and the Carabinieri Command for Agri-food Protection, Crea, Ismea, Agea, the Ministry of Education and Merit and the Ministry of Culture who collaborated on our events, the Torgiano Museum of the Lungarotti Foundation and the other museums that brought extraordinary works of art to Vinitaly also thanks to Generali, all those who contributed to the immersive installation ‘Divina’ and our students from the agricultural and hotel institutes, who together with their teachers accompanied many of the activities of the fair”.

“As I have already had the opportunity to state, it is important to attribute the right value to our wine supply chain, because Italian wine represents a high quality product, but also a symbol of our culture, our landscapes and our tradition. It is essential to consume it in moderation, appreciating its quality and guaranteeing fair compensation to all those who contribute to its production and marketing“, concluded the minister.
